Visual interfaces bring your simulation to life. Intarva provides high-fidelity rendering for both character-based and graphical pixel-mapped displays.

The Theory of Visualization

In hardware simulation, displays are the most resource-intensive components. Intarva optimizes this through two distinct rendering methods:

Character Mapping

Used by standard LCDs. The microcontroller sends ASCII codes to a built-in controller (HD44780). This requires very low bandwidth and is ideal for simple text telemetry.

Pixel Mapping (Frame Buffers)

Used by OLEDs. The microcontroller maintains a Bitmap in RAM. To change a single pixel, the entire buffer (or a specific page) must be re-sent over the I2C/SPI bus.

Simulation Fidelity: Intarva’s OLED models include a virtual “Persistance of Vision” layer, accurately reflecting the subtle flicker and refresh artifacts seen on physical SSD1306 panels.
