Discrete & IC Components

Beyond high-level sensors and displays, Intarva simulates the fundamental building blocks of electronics—from transistors and resistors to specialized analog-to-digital converters.

1. Integrated Circuits (ICs)

Intarva models the internal logic and electrical behavior of several industry-standard ICs.

IC Model Role & Capability Communication
MCP3008 8-Channel 10-bit ADC. Expands the number of analog sensors your project can read. SPI
74HC595 8-bit Shift Register. Used for pin expansion and driving 7-segment displays. SPI / Bit-Bang
ULN2003 High-current Darlington Array. Essential for driving Stepper Motors and large Relays safely. Parallel Logic

2. Discrete Semiconductors

Fundamental components for power management and signal switching.

7805 Voltage Regulator

Simulates a steady 5V output from any input source (up to 12V). Includes thermal cutoff simulation if the load is too high.

NPN Transistor

A logic-controlled switch. Allows a low-power GPIO pin to control a high-power Net (like a motor or heater).

Resistors

Not just visual! Intarva’s solver calculates the Voltage Drop across every resistor in your circuit based on its Ohm value.

3. Sensor Aliases (DHT11 / DHT22)

For convenience, Intarva supports common sensor aliases. When you place a DHT11 or DHT22 in the editor, it utilizes our high-fidelity Temperature & Humidity simulation engine.
